Shallowater returns with their ambitious sophomore album,
“Sadie” opening with a lightly droning post-hardcore feel until the storm clouds roll in around the two-and-a-half-minute mark—and the inclement weather really begins about a minute later.
Produced by Asheville, NC engineer Alex Farrar (Wednesday, MJ Lenderman, Indigo De Souza, Waxahatchee, Hotline TNT), this record is a deeper foray into the slowcore and country styles, featuring long, complex songs and a guest appearance from fellow West Texas musician Hayden Pedigo on the track "All My Love." God's Gonna Give You A Million Dollars follows the band's debut album, There Is A Well, which was released in December of 2023.
