Prime movers of the ‘Madchester’ era, Inspiral Carpets released their third studio album ‘Revenge Of The Goldfish’ in 1992. Containing the UK Top Twenty hit ‘Dragging Me Down’ plus further singles ‘Two Worlds Collide’, ‘Generations’ and ‘Bitches Brew’, it was one of the best demonstrations of the group’s signature indie sound, powered by Clint Boon’s organ playing and influenced by psychedelic rock.
